ATI MOBILITY Radeon 9000 Problems
Im having a problem with my notebook and its really annoying me. Im quite new to this so if my details arnt as detailed as other people just bear with me.
OK, i was having problems before and had to reinstall windows but when this was all done my graphics card and sound card are both not working. So i thought that thats fine, so i downloaded the right drivers off the ati website, i downloaded them and then its sayin that its not detected, which confused me because i was able to download the utility program and that told me exactly what chipset and graphics card was their. But it kept saying on installation that it could not detect anything their.
So i downloaded all the drivers i could and none of them seem to work, in the device manager too its just got a windows standard vga, and its telling me to on installation to install one of those.
So i took the laptop to a shop to see what they could do, and they told me to get the recovery disk i got with it, but i dont have one, and i cant get one because the company who i got the computer of went bust 3 months ago. Is their anything i could do to solve the grahpics problem, i was thinking of tkaing it apart but i really dont want to do that because i think this card is intergrated on the motherboard, plus i really dont know what i would be doing. Would anybody be able to help me? please i realy am desperate, oh n i dont know how to enter my bios, its doesnt ask me for any key on startup. and im running windows xp home, on a multivision nexus 8010. if that helps, i just really dont know what to do.
