I want to get a new video card. I was looking at this one on newegg. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-303&depa=0
I am looking at buying a video card around the 130 dallor range.
I curently have a ati 7500 64mg all in wonder.
Has any one used this card? I want to play games like doom 3, call of duty, need for speed underground, battle field 1942.
What should I look for in buying a video card? Like what manufactor? Also will pretty much just any 9800 play these games?
If there is any info i can read on video card please post it becuase I really dont know much about them...
I am up to what ever you suggest.....
Thanks for the help

dont go se for one! it is fine but kinda very slow try to spend a few extra bucks and get a pro there is a massive difference between pro and se. if you cant afford a pro look at trying to get a 9600 xt or pro.
try looking at one of these 9600 xt http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-338&depa=0
i find the saphire and power color are good brands but they are more expensive. what is your budget ? |

I agree with Bizkitkid2001. The 5700 ultra is a very nice card to get if you are on a budget and want a card that will run the new games. |

How about a 9800PRO or a 9800XT for the price of a 9800SE!
Ricky I have two forums. One is on soft modding and one shows how I went from getting a 5700ultra or a 9600XT getting a 9800SE which is almost the same price as those. Just read them and see what its about. It can be confusing. But the cards discussed are very close to your budget.
