Overclocking ATI Radeon 9600PRO 128MB

do i have to download the OMEGA drivers or the overclocking can be done with the original CATALYST 4.8 (new) ???
what do u suggest do overclock with ??? anyone with the same card what is your highest overclock ?

The omega drivers are usually used for flashing cards. The overclocking can be done with any drivers, I use power strip, its great! Google it and download it

but catalyst 4.8 is very new and i know that Power Strip doesn't recognize new drivers right away (u have 2 wait untill they will update their program too..)
i know that with Nvidia cards u only double-click on coolbits.teg and thats it !
isn't there any reg file for radeon as well ?

Yup, I know about coolbits, but the bad thing about coolbits (at least for me) is that it won't save my settings, so I just use power strip I don't think there something like coolbits for ATI cards

but if i install power strip now while having 4.8 drivers (new) will it work ok or it won't work at all...
