How does this chipset compare to A Nividia or ATI card? Can somebody give me a rough idea?

just based on history it is not going to be near as good as a seperate vid card...the Intel xtreme graphics 1 wasnt very great..so I doubt the 2 is super great..plus of course it WILL load down the cpu some...so going to a seperate vid card will have better video PLUS it will take that load off of the cpu

Here's a review from sharky's:

You could probably play ut2k4 on it but wouldn't be happy. If you're just browsing the net, playing flash games...it will work fine.

Exclamation

I'm thinking that an ATI 9000 or a gf4 is a lot better!

EDIT: and according to this chart I just looked at: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...id=1452&page=6
the EX2 totally blows stay away from it, unless you like to play games from the last millenium

Intel Extreme Graphics are horrible. Unless you have a ATI Radeon 7000.

I'm assuming these are integrated, and integrated sucks crap..they even have a hard time running something as simple as CS on opengl settings, i also think they take away from your system memory depending on how many MB the onboard is..
