| What is the best graphic card (manufacturer) with Ati’s Radeon chipset?
I’m planning to change my Abit Radeon 9600XT-256 card for Club-3D-9800XT-256. Any thoughts about that? And, who is the best using Ati Radeon chipset?
Best regards |

Why not just get the GeForce 6800, if you are willing to spend the money on a new card, might as well get the best. If you want to stick with ATI, you could go with the x series, but I have heard that the new nVidia cards were better...

I like Saphire for ATI, but i am a nvidia guy, for them I go Gainward. Why not just buy a card from ATI, then usually have more bundled software anyway.

where do you plan on getting a 9800XT for $20+your old card...if this was a trade or something then you probobally wouldnt have a choice of brand
imo the 9800 XT isnt worth the money, and the 9800 Pro is a better deal but i personally wouldnt upgrade from a 9600XT to a 9600 Pro, the agp x700 xt should be out by christmas time and it will perform much better than a 9800 XT and cost around $200
to awnser the original question i like msi just because of their bundling, but all of them will perform about the same

I vote for a 6800 as well at its faster than a 9800XT and its cheaper. 9800XT is waay overpriced.
My answer to the thread question is ATI. ATI makes the best ATI cards. Although I have heard that Saphire uses the same reference designs as ATI.

Dont listen to all these nVidia fans, stick with ATI.
(nVidia is not bad, i just like ATI. No offence)
I believe that Saphire has been using ATI chipsets the longest, or so it seems. Always good performance and reliability from saphire.
i am also curious as to where you are getting the 9800XT for $20 plus your 9600XT.

As said before, if you're going to upgrade, go for a GeForce 6800. It's way more features and performance for a lower price. |
