    Watercooling Asus 9800 XT

I was wondering if its better to keep the original heatsinks and fans on my ASUS 9800 XT Card or will it be better to install a Koolance GPU Watercooler on it?

Any suggestions please let me know, im running an EXOS system with the CPU and HDD cooled.

well the 9800 pro are renound for getting very hot so the xt is alot worse. water cooling would help this out alot. i think if you know how to do it and have the cash to do so then it is a must.

If you have the money, water cool it... Otherwise, I dont think it is entirely necessary unless you are going to overclock.

Yeah, well i have a koolance VGA Cooler that i purchased, i took off the original fan and heatsink from my Card and put the cooler on just to see if it would fit. It turned out to fit perfectly. Im just woundering if this will make a very large change in the amount of cooling being done with the watercooler VS. the Original dual fan setup.

This is the cooler i got : http://www.koolance.com/shop/product...roducts_id=104

That cooler was recommend to me by Pinipig (fellow TehcIMO-inian ), along with the Exos, when I was going to go the watercooling route.

It'll make a big difference when overclocking.

Sounds good guys!!! Wish me luck on my first watercooled rig !!

On another note, is it a major difference when adding a watercooler to the MB chipset? I mean ive felt the heatsink and it doesnt really seem to be making to much heat. To mean it seems to be a bit of a waste.
