| geforce 6800 gt.fps = 20/30/40/50?
hi guys, im back again. i purchursed the Geforce 6800Gt on monday, and has made some really good differences to the main game i play ( cs:source ) though my fps seems still to be lagging. i have a p4 2.66ghz and still only getting around 40/50 fps. though in heavy combat it can drop to 30 or even 20. how can i get the most out of my card? and are these fps stats about right for this card? i have also just played medal of honour pacific assault demo, with anisotripic filtering off and 4x AA. and it was .. well just barely played, very very joggy though. when playing cs:source i normally have AA and AF on the highest settings, though i feel for 300 pounds the card should be able to handle it. any help or comments would be greatly appreicated. thanks. |
