you could get an x800pro with VIVO and flash it to x800xt. but for that price the 6800gt and x800pro are both great cards. |

wow.. if 450 goes to ur graphic card, i can't imagine how much goes to ur entire rig
COOL!!
but, yeah... the best would arguably be the 6800GT |

No one told him Nvidia is arguably better since they decided not to repeat the FX line. I have only heard great things about the geforce 6 series. I have heard not so good things about ATi's new series except the x800XT platnium, which is over priced so no one reccomends buying it.

well, it's not a very small budget!
around 2000 bucks.
i was going for a top-end system, around 3500 bucks, but i just need a system to run halo, far cry, and probably halo 2 when it comes out
will these do?:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
MSI K8TNEO2-FIR via k8t800 pro chipset
ASUS Radeon X800 Pro
PDP systems memory dual channel kit 184-pin 1GB( 512MBX2 )
Maxtor Ultra Series Kit 120 GB 7200rpm IDE
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Gamer LE
Samsung 172x-silver 17"
these add up to only 1972.97, is there anything i can change to make my gaming experience a tad better?
(not too much price difference, though |

how do you "flash"
also, how do you overclock anything (ex: ram, cpu, gpu)? |
