Refurbished 9800Pro ????
I wanted this 9800Pro from newegg for around $200...but I need it urgently before friday Nov 12th , and now it's out of stock on newegg.com...
So I began looking for alternatives...and came up with some refurbs, I was wondering what exactly does refurbished mean? is there anything wrong with these cards? What exaclty comes with the card? ... anyone had experience with refurb video cards.
This was the one I was looking for originally...
PowerColor ATI Radeon 9800PRO, 128MB DDR, 256-bit.

And now I'm looking at these alternatives...
REFURBISHED: PowerColor ATI Radeon 9800PRO, 128MB DDR, 256-bit (Same as above, just refurb)

REFURBISHED: Celestica ATI RADEON 9800PRO 128MB DDR

POWERCOLOR RADEON 9800 PRO EZ Video Card, 128MB DDR, 128-Bit

with newegg it means that somebody sent it back, usually just because of a compatibility issue...it comes with whatever they sent back with it but assume it is just the card and be happy if there is something else
the prices on those refurbs are not incredible good to make them worth getting, i would look in to another retailer if you really need it

btw don't go with the 128-bit versionHey who turned sigs on?

Stay away from the 128 bit version or EZ models. I would get a refurb 9800P anytime because it will save me 50 bucks. Just like headband said, don't expect the card to come with anything. But you really don't need most of the stuff you get, like the y power splitter, or the cd with old drivers, game bundles, the manual, and some more useless cables that come with it. The card will definitely work, it's not like buying from ebay, refurb means that if there was something wrong with it, it was fixed and the card is now in like-new condition.
Why not go with a different 9800PRO if you don't want a refurb, if you order by Monday, you will definitely have it by Friday

Thank you for the swift reply. As far as I can tell there is no NVidia graphics card pre-installed. The system is an every-day-machine intended for Photoshop related work as well as light 3d...
Does any graphics card work on any...
