CPU Ram as GPU Ram

I have an integrated nForce2 and a lot of ram, I also have 750 megs of RAM. The gpu has 32 megs of ram. Is there a way to use my motherboards ram as the gpu's? I need at least 64 megs for Medal of Honor, and Christmas is a ways away.
This n00b thanks you.

You should be able to go into bios (hitting delete during post) and up it to 128. Atleast that is what it will go to on one of my nforce 2 integrated boards.

If you have the Integrated GPU, it uses your system RAM already. If not/if you need more, go to your BIOS and change the Video Aperture Size (64-128MB is usually good enough) to let the GPU use more system memory (Thou it will run slower if it has to use the memory)

If you change the Aperture Size, it won't show up onm dxdiag, but your GPU will use it if it needs too.

In answer to carajean if changing agp arpature size will work on any video card but if the card has to use the system ram instead of the gpu ram then your game will run slower.

I will check on where the setting for integrated video memory is in a second and will update my post then.

Update: The option for uping video memory is called frame buffer in my bios and I am guessing it will be the same in your computer. It is listed under advanced chipset features. (I believe that is the name)

Thanks, I got it up to 128 and it was frame buffer. The other one let me change to 512 and well that wasnt it.

weeeeell ... guess what this AGP thing is about ... yes ... the graphics card borrowing system memory for its own behalf, using a fast access method across the bus.

This works for integrated pseudo-AGP graphics as well as for discrete ones. The former will not experience as much of a speed difference from their "own" ram to borrowed ram, but a discrete graphics card certainly will.
