i was wondering. i am not here to get told foe the millionth time to buy a new mobo or a whole new pc. i wa looking on best buy and there is a radeon 9250 pci. it is 256 mb 400 dual ramdac's and looks alot better than my 5200. i know most of u say that no way u can play new games. i play doom 3 hl2 far cry and cs source on mine with medium setting of course so plz dont give me that bull  . i would just like to hear what some of you think. |

its pretty much equal to your 5200
does your mobo have an agp slot?
how much are you looking to spend on a card?

Pretty much a fact now I guess, since the HL2 thread pointed it out, that the 5200 wont run Dx9 in HL2, you can force it to but that supposedly makes the game very unenjoyable and almost unplayable. So I dont think its possible ya getting medium with one

Dude save ur money and get like a 9500pro, 9600pro, 9700pro if u dont want to spend alot of money.

Save your money for a new upgrade. Not worth the purchase IMO. |
