hey guys , i got a built by ati 9800pro o\ced to 412-365 ( xt speeds but not flashed) modded with a giant3 for cooling , anyways id just like to know if the upgrade would be worth it , the 6600Gt is about 300$canadian + shipping ...so i guess the question is , is the upgrade worth it for the price ? id just like to get some views from you guys ! thx

The differance between 9800 and 6600GT is there, but its not massive. I say keep your 9800 for a while longer. But the 6600GT are great cards, I have one. |

well the 6600gt would be a big improvement over the 9800 ( kinda like going from the 9600 to the 9800) but i would hold off for a little while as the 9800 is still a decent card to have. i would wait till the new range comes out and the 6800gt's come down in price then get a 6800.

Yeah, not enough to make me want to switch if I was in your situation.
I would wait until either the next gen of cards comes out, or when the 6800's come down in price. |

what exactly is "flashing"?????? | Oh boy , talk about a loaded question!
Flashing in this instance refers to changing the code that's been written in the cards eeprom to the code that written for a higher priced card of the same family.
