Here's something that's baffling me. I have a 2.8GHZ P4 with 1 GB of ram. I have the 6600GT 8xAGP version. When playing games like Far Cry or Painkiller, after a while the fps goes straight down to almost 3 fps. If I look down on the floor, it will speed back up to 60 fps. I have to change any setting in the video settings (weapon texture quality to low and back to high) then go back into the game and it will resume at it's normal speed? Any body heard of this problem? I checked the card and seems ok. The power supply is connected to it.
