I am having problems using the s-video out function with this card. It came installed with my laptop which is an Acer 1522, AMD 64 3000+, 60GB HDD, 512DDR RAM, DVD/RW drive. Can somebody show me how to use the s-video out for this card? I am using a s-video to composite lead asmy television doesnot support s-video in.
Thanks |

I'm really not sure of the question. You said your "television does not support s-video in." So, what are you trying to connect it to?

those things are called jack plugs.
Did that converter from s-video to jack plug come with your card?? If not, it could be that is has a wrong pin-out. |

you plug that into your tv and laptop..then you need to change the input on your tv...usually to input one or something like that try messing with the input. if that dosen't fix it please explain exactly what shows up on the tv when you plug it in...is it distorted, blurry....explain the problem in detail. If it's just blurry, sorry but that's how tv's display. You will not get a clear picture on your tv unless you are watching video. TV's are not meant to display still, very highly defined images (like text) and do a poor job of it. if you are watching video, then that's a whole different story! just let us know a little more info. |

ok, i have plugged it in and change the channel to AV, nothing happens and there is a blank screen with the AV in logo on although the screen does get slighly darker. on the laptop, i can extend the desktop to monitor 2 and then the mouse and windows can then leave the laptops screen |
