    3 Monitor Situation.

Ok, here's what I've got. My pc is a Gateway Media Center PC. It originally came with a PCIE ATI Radeon X300 video card with only one VGA and one S-Video output. My plan was to have a total of 3 monitors hooked up to this pc, so I bought another video card, NVidia GeForce Fx5500 with dual-VGA output and S-Video output. Now this video card is just regular old PCI. I installed it and thepc recognizes it. When I go into Display properties, all of the monitors are also listed. It shows monitor #1, which is the primary monitor on the ATI card. And then it also shows monitors 2, 3, and 4. Two is the secondary output from the ATI card and 3 and 4 are my other two lcd monitors on the Nvidia card. All monitors except for #1 are "grayed out." When my pc is on, I have video on the primary monitor and nothing on the other two, like the video card isn't sending any signal. Anyway, whenever I try to extend the desktop to these other two monitors, the computer freezes up and I have to restart. Can anyone tell me what kind of problem I may be facing? Is it because one card is PCIE and one is just PCI? Thanks for the help.

make sure you have the latest drivers for each card. also. it might be wise to try installing only one of the monitors at a time and only one video card at a time. how much memory does your system have?
what? like a blue spider? get it off!
