LCD native resolution

I want to add a third monitor to my system, a 19" lcd, with native resolution 1280x1024. On my crt monitors I run 1024x768. If I match the lcd to 1024x768 will I get a distorted display? I find the higher resolution is too small to read. I don't mind crt's but my only output is dvi and it can't be converted to d-sub.

My system,
Athlon xp2400 cpu
Gigabyte GA-7vaxp mb with promise onboard raid controller
Kingston value ram 1024ddr pc3200 400mhz
Dual 80gig maxtor hd's 7200rpm ata 133 raid 0
Artec 16X DVD-ROM
Cyberdrive 40X16X48 CDRW
Verbatim 2.4X DVD+RW/R
ATI all in wonder 8500dv AGP primary video card
VisionTek XTASY radeon 9100 64mb ddr PCI 2nd video card
Nokia 21" 445Xpro CRT Monitor
KDS 19" visual sensations CRT monitor
Antec 430 watt true power ps
Ahanix platinum xp steel case
Windows xp home sp1

you will find that the LCD monitor will more than likely scale up (enlarge) the image to make use of the 1280 x 1024 pixels, leaving you a pretty ugly desktop.

A 19" monitor at 1280 x 1024 shouldn't be THAT small actually, but hey everyone to there own
