Best 15" LCDs

Hello.

I am possibly looking around for an LCD for myself. I currently have a 17" MPC (Viewsonic Tube) .23 DPI monitor that I love, but I want to move my computer to a different desk that this monitor just will not fit on. So, if I am correct, a 15" LCD would be pretty close to equal to this size. I want to spend as far under $300 as possible, but want good image quality, and possible gaming (not a ton, but I also watch DVD's, so it's kind of important)

I would also like to know any personal experiences.

Thanks

Cody

Go to www.pricegrabber.com to check out prices or www.pricewatch.com. I've always waited for Dell or someone to have a coupon on www.techbargains.com and buy from a reputable dealer. With LCD screens, it really is a luck of the draw if you end up with one or more bright/dead pixels and you cannot exchange it.

In every comparison I've seen - the Samsung LCD monitors come out at or near the top. They aren't the cheapest, but they seem to be the best value.

Stay away from the real low end LCD monitors, some of them are really bad.
