*Bumpity*
PSU=450W (on specs)
Monitor: I'm not sure but all the other games work fine @ same res+refresh rate so I'm assuming it's fine.
There's no Microsoft report, and I don't get this problem when playing DX8 games.
Fine:
BF1942
CS 1.6
UT2003
Jedi Knight 2
Not Fine:
HL2
Halo
UT2004
BF2
NFSU2
The temp is around 59-60 C when the problems happen.

If u have SiS chipset, then u might need to configurate it to make compable to each other or turn of fastwrites.

Bumping again... here is another screenshot (see attachment), the first scene in Half-Life 2. I have absolutely no problems in other games. And the weird thing is, sometimes even HL2 will run fine. The ones I have problems with (Halo, BF2, Half-Life 2/CS Source, Need for Speed UG) seem to be using DirectX 9, and the ones I don't have problems with use lower DirectX versions. I wonder what is wrong? GPU Temperature is 54 degrees Celsius. I'll try again when my computer is very cool, maybe it IS a heat problem. Thanks |

It is a Thermaltake Butterfly 480W's. I will consider replacing it in the future, if nothing else seems to be the problem. |

I think the best thing to do is to get that card replaced. How old is it? |

I just bought it a few weeks ago, and it was almost new (used for 3 days) when I bought it. Well I guess I'll sell this Leadtek, and get MSI or something. That way I will neither lose nor make money. Thanks for the help. |
