Try resetting your CMOS to "Fail-Safe" or "Compatible" settings.
I once had strange texture problems that were fixed by setting my AGP aperature size to 128MB. |

I've been dealing with an issue like this for a month now with my PNY 6600GT. Turns out the problem is DirectX itself. Try adding -opengl to the end of your shortcuts on the 3D games that cause you problems. This will force most games to render in OpenGL instead if they support it. Let me know how it goes. |

Alright, I am bumping this thread because I will be selling the Leadtek and replacing it with another 6600GT. Of course, I will try Rivatuner and all the suggestions you guys have given me first. I will post when I get the new card.
EDIT; I have ordered the new card. It is an Asus Extreme N6600GT 128MB PCI-Express. I will post as soon as I try it out.

Your and my guesses were correct! Now there's no problems whatsoever in anything. I do still have an audio problem though, it's in the Multimedia/Audio forum. Thanks for everyone's advice. |

well.. I found out what was wrong.. It wasn't the video card directly causing the issue. More of a conflict with the video card. For some reason the MSI mobo with the ATI chipset has issues with an nVidia card, though a jetway mobo with the ATI chipset has no issues..... evil.. Unfortunetly I find this out after I spend $550 and get the 7800 GTX that happened to come with a free EVGA mobo. If you are going to go Mini-ATX, go for the Jetway. |
