still don't buy it...sooo 9800pro is low-end (entry level) eh?

well, an FX5200 is an entry level card...i wouldn't stick a 9800pro and an FX5200 in the same category.

#1 this is from a gamer's POV
#2 I specifically mentioned that the cards I listed are from the CURRENT series which is the x800s and x700s and the 6 series.

ghey

that's a pretty dumb guide if it doesn't still include previous cards...that misses a whole lot of the point.

... So, nobody answered my question...
... am I getting a new card in the mail or what?

Ahahaha. ;]

Arguing for SpaceSquad - reason #1: this is from A gamer's POV... not THE gamer's POV.
Arguing for nwo75200 - Look at the price ranges... jumps from ~$180 to a lot more than that.

I had this same senario..
I looked for abit and compared the diffrent cards i went with the evga 6800 i am happy with the results 195 shipped. i can max out any game and it runs fine thats if your system is good too. I would spend a few pennies more for the 6800 cause its newer right?

Actually, a 6600GT is newer than the 6800 because it came out a few months after it, but a 6800 is still faster and far more superior due to 256 bit memory bandwidth, the core architecture is faster, and it has more pipelines.

Yea, but problem is the geforce 6800 256mb is a lot more expensive than the 128mb version...which is around $200.

that's because it's PCI-e and not AGP
