The 5900 vanilla ran the 3DMARK05 test at 1600, but the 6800 couldn't even run it, or the 6600GT, both of them being faster and newer than the 5900.
I wonder if Tom is forgetting to run driver cleaner each time he switches a card. |

the 6600gt can run 3d mark 2005 ...as i have ran it and so have many others.... so I would say there is a mess up with the chart....

The 1600x1200 setting right? The PCI-e version wouldn't run it that high either. Maybe it's the brand of card he's using.

maybe someone can help me here with a quick question....
my dad's Dell XPS has a 6800 256mb X16 PCI-E .... the only one i see on the chart that is 256mb is a GT ... but it runs 350 core / 900mem ... is this just a 6800 or 6800GT ..? |

the dell xps comes with the a regular 6800 or a 6800 ultra. you really can't compare it to a desktop card anyway. |
