I have a Sharp LCD TV (LC-26GA5U) and my graphics card is e-GeForce 6200. The Sharp LCD is connected to the graphics card using a DVI-I cable. I also have a regular computer monitor (Gateway FPD1730) which is connected to the card with a VGA cable. I am using windows XP.
When I boot the system, both screens display the BIOS information and the Windows XP loading screen, but when it gets to the blue Welcome screen, the Sharp LCD goes blank but the other monitor continues to display.
When I remove the Nvidia driviers (I am using the newest drivers available on Nvidias website), I am able to see both monitors all the way through startup and regular use, but they are cloned (displaying the same thing, in the same resolution on both and only one monitor appears in the Windows "Display Properties" dialog.
Ideally, I would like to be able to use the LCD TV as a second monitor to extend the desktop (Nvidia's nView would be great for this if it worked...)
Any help would be appriciated. Thanks
