Anyone have tried Refurbished monitor from Viewsonic?

Saw some good deals at newegg, that look pretty good to me.

dont know what the prices are like where you live but i,m in the uk (Glasgow)
and i can buy a new moniter 17inch for £55 with warantys or a refurb moniter for £45
and it could run for a few years or just a few months i would say just buy new its less agravation if somthing gose wrong with it

I've had several refurbished monitors, and only one problem (which was an issue with being sent the wrong one, not with the monitor itself).

Simply make sure that you buy from a reputable source with a good return policy.

I don't know. The only Refurb moniter I have ever had was a 15in. CRT EMachine moniter and it lasted 2 years and was still going. I chose to replace it on my own. ViewSonic is a good brand so why not? By the way, my refurb was from a local dealer.

That would be cool but due distance and time restrictions I cannot go and pickup the stuff.
