i tried to find a thread here i read last month, but to no avail, anyway, here is my problem, i have replaced my old video card(ati) with new geforce 5500, has an s-video connection, and i cant seem to get the tv to show what my primary monitor has on it. i have figured out one thing with this, when i enable the second monitor(the tv) it is attached to my desktop, (i scroll mouse off screen on monitor and it pops on the tv, but no icons, etc, just desktop), but i cannot figure out how to make it display EXACTLY like my desktop, ie, i want to be able to watch my dvd collection on my television, and dont feel like going out to buy a dvd player when i have one in the computer and can run a $10 wire rather than spend $50-$100 on a new machine. i am pretty sure this isnt that hard, but i am missing something somewhere, probably very obvious to a more seasoned user.
