Help with Geforce 2 MX-400 PCI 64 megs in ASUS TX-97 Motherboard! :(

I just bought a VisionTek PCI Geforce 2 MX-400 video card with 64 megs of memory. I try to make it work in my old computer (ASUS TX-97, AMD K6-2 400mhz (6x66mhz), 256 megs RAM...) but the computer doesn't boot with that video card! All I hear is 4-5 beeps (like if there was no video card at all) and that's it.
I tested the card in another computer (ASUS CUBX-E, Celeron 700 mhz) and the card works fine.
I called the VisionTek technical support, and they have no clue. :-/
I think you have to disable your integrated video card in order to do this!
With PCChips motherboards, you could just enter the BIOS and Choose the Primary Display Adapter to be your PCI bus! But maybe you have to remove a jumper or something of that nature to disable your integrated video card! (I'm, of course, assuming your video is integrated!).!
Nope, no integrated video on the TX-97. I had an ATI All-in-wonder and 2 Voodoo 2's, I removed those 3 cards to use the Geforce but it doesn't work. I think it's because the motherboard is too old and the PCI slots don't supply enough power to the GeForce card. I returned it to the store today for a refund.
I guess I'll have to find a Voodoo 5 PCI on eBay... those cards have an additionnal power cable to plug them on the power supply, so they get enough power...
Are you sure you had the BIOS settings right! Was the card in the number 1 PCI slot! They usually won't work if they're in the wrong slot! Welcome to TechImo! We get excited about helping people around here! Ask Eagle! (but don't ask him about Kyro or tile-based rendering!)

Welcome EB! It could be a power issue but I know people running with geforces on older machines without a hitch! Voodoo's are still great! I have a Voodoo 3 2000 pci and it works flawlessly!
