I guarantee you that it will run any of those games without a hitch at high settings, 1024x768 resolution, as long as you have an A64, or a P4 3GHz or faster, otherwise you're gonna see a bottleneck. The one game that it will struggle the most on is battlefield 2, but it will play it at medium-high settings @1024x768 as long as you have 1GB of RAM and a good CPU as I mentioned earlier.

yeah i ordered a dell xps with pentium d dual core 3 ghz and 1 gig ram and a nvidia geforce 6800 so will this be able to run the games smoothly? i'm guessing it should considering u listed these as the minimum requirements for running the games i listed. can i run the bf2 on high settings with the comp specs that i listed?

Not sure about that with an Pentium dual-core, they are not the best when it comes to gaming, but it should be able to produce nice settings, 1024x768 or maybe higher. Like NWO said, you want have a problem, I am not so sure in high setting, should be able to though

well I got value RAM, A64 with a 6600GT and it runs counter strike source on high settings at 1024x768. If a 6800 can't do that, get ur money back, lol.

You will be able to run both CS:S and Doom3 on highest settings, at 1024x768 resolution, but BF2 will most likely run medium-high (some settings medium, most high) at 1024x768. Try to see if you can upgrade that graphics card to an x800pro or x800xl, it should be quite a bit faster for maybe an additional 50 bucks or so.

umm. Nwo72500. i know your 6800 could play med-high settings. but my 6600gt can play on high settings. the only thing it couldnt play on high was the texture which required a 256mb card. So im sure he can play on high. Im also running it on 2qx anti-aliasing. I can go to 4x, but there is no difference!

i can also put the resolution up a bit to 1152x864 or whatever. That there will only cost me about 5-8 frames! Although i do overclock my Card to 550mhz core with 1130mhz memory!

yes, but a GfGo 6800 is different from the regular desktop vanilla 6800, the mobile version is more on par with a vanilla x800...

I think that the problem is I get a lot of HDD when I try to play on all high settings, I either need more RAM or need to tighten the timings which doesn't really help all that much, either way, I always like to sacrifice image quality for smooth and stable fps because I just hate it when my fps drops below 20
