Talking I wanna do some warcrafting!

    Hey, hey, hey!

Me gots Warcraft III with the expansion pack frozen throne. NOBODY JOINS MY GAMES! and I know why. A firewall issue they claim, since I tried playing with my friend. How did you configure your firewall when it comes to hosting your own games?

On Battle.net I've never had a problem hosting games with a router (thus NAT). The first thing to do would be to make sure your software firewall if you have one allows "server" or incoming access for that application. If its not application based, make sure port 6112TCP has access.

If you have a router, try forwarding port 6112-TCP to your PC.

Yep, me gots a router, a Westell Versalink Model 327W (router that came with my Verizon DSL package)

Now, I think I have two firewalls, or one replaced it. First I had the Firewall thing that came with the XP SP2 CD, then I looked around on Techimo and found a link to the Sygate Firewall. Where do I configure all this port 6112 stuff?

It tells you the default password below the screenshot
    "NOLOGIN"

If that doesn't work, then chances are Verizon changed it to something in hopes of keeping people out. Might have to call them. If this is a combination Modem/Router, I wouldn't recommend just setting it because there's generally alot of configuration for ADSL especially for those. (Carrier settings and such).

I leave a username blank, and put in NOLOGIN as a password.... firefox and IE both keep prompting me for a password again... *teh sighs*

AH. NOW YOU EDIT IT. O_O

I see, I betcha verizon DID do something to it. I think its a combination router, I connect the phone line to it, then I connect broadband cables to four other items...

GAH. Oh well, it was a good try. Thanks anyways!
