    Question X800PRO or 6800GT

     
    Hey everybody i was just wondering which video card would be a better buy in the long run. i have an AGP bus on my mobo and i don't feel like the hassle of upgrading to pci express so i was wondering which would be the better buy.

    I think your choice should be between the X800XL & the 6800GT. On a $$$/FPS basis I'm pretty sure the ATI wins.

    my question would be, do the 4 extra pixel pipelines help out that much?

    that was a easy one, the 6800gt is faster than the x800 pro in pretty much all games.

    yes the 4 extra pixel pipes do help, the X800Pro has 12 and the X800XL or 6900GT have 16...

    crap it posted twice, i tried to stop and correct the 6900 ot 6800 and it must have posted 2x sorry
