Half Life Stress test

Hey guys, still testing out my 6600 and was wondering if 50.5 fps is a descent score on CS:Source stress test with all settings maxed out @1024x768 (4xAA, 8xAF)??

Goodness gracious it is. 35fps is like the minimum for me when it comes to gaming performance.

Yep, that's a pretty nice score for your rig.

What's the clock speed on your celly? Is it a regular or a celeron D? Please note that he maxed out the game (meaning everything on highest) and 4x AA and 8x AF, if you turned on AA or AF at the settings you have the game at now, I bet you wouldn't get more than 30fps.

Did you run the benchie or is this just an estimate from your gaming experience?

clock speed on my celly D is 3ghx from 2.66.....i downclocked it from when i had it at 3.4ghz because it's like 100f outside everyday here with the humidity...making my room like 80f.....and this is from the benchie not my guesses

Just tried the same settings with 4xAA and 16xAF and my score didn't go down at all, I think that means my 6600 is being bottlenecked by something.

Edit: 6xAA doesnt work.

Well, if anything is bottlenecking that 6600, it would be your CPU.
