VGA Compared to DVI

I bought a new video card and Im waiting on the motherboard to arrive to install it. My question is this: My LCD is regular VGA hookup, the card only has two DVI connectors. With the DVI-To-VGA adapter, will there be any falloff on the performance that I will visually see. If there is, Is it so much that I should upgrade to a new LCD with a DVI cable.

Shouldn't be any, I don't think. If there is, there'll be very little, not really enough to notice.

Nope, atleast I don't think so...from what I have heard, the dvi I also gives out an analog signal, which lets you use that adapter.
