Game pauses or hiccups! Video Memory or System Memory! Professional Help!

in games like battlefield 2 with texture on HIGH, the game pauses alot. ill get good frames but as you move around the game will jump and "lagg". Is this because my 6600gt only has 128mb ram or is it my 1.5gigs. Should i upgrade to 2gigs or should i just get my 6600gt render medium textures! Thanks for your Help!

If it was graphical lag then you would have constant lag. Update ALL of your drivers if you haven't already. Battlefield 2 almost always has problems with outdated sound drivers.

    lag

Maybe you just have cpu lag or it's your internet connection. My 6600gt never hiccups--i use high detail for all games.

I had hiccups with 1GB of ram, but it was fine with 1.5GB. My current system has 2GB and its silkey smooth.

Ya, turn the textures down a little...that is probably it...since you only have 128mb of ram on your vid card, it may not be enough...which makes the card have to load the textures from the main memory...and that would make it pause a bit...
