Nvidia 6800 GT Problem
Hey my friends 6800 GT doesnt seem to be able to attain a higher FPS rate than 75fps, My ATI X800 GT can attain much higher FPS on games and my card was alot cheaper, is thier some sort of cap on his card, we both played a game of the new title F.E.A.R. and with his gfx set to minimum it still runs at an fps of 75, which it remains at on mediam and high, whereas my card on minimum goes to 300+, i no they are different cards but even on counter strike 1.6 the fps doesnt rise above 75 which sucks, he notices no drop in performance on this game, however F.E.A.R. plays choppy in certain places. can this be fixed. im sick of him moaning his pc spec is rather good. so it's got to be a problem with the gfx. Any help with this would be great.

You should have your frames capped at what your re-fresh of your monitor is anyway. I play css and get 130fps stress test with a 6600Gt but have mine capped at 75fps as the drop from 130 to 75 (which is all i can see anyway with my monitor) is to big for me to control.

I hope there is a time delay. I'd hate my deer rifle to go off in my trunk after the deer snuck back in to the brush...
