I have been contenplating buying one of these cards

They are both decent cards. Personally, I prefer the GeForce cards. The deciding factor on whether to get an AGP or PCI-e card is solely dependent on which interface your motherboard uses. |

It has both? What motherboard do you have? I wasn't aware of any that have both. |

Yours has PCI-E, and an AGP slot? Are you sure, because there are only a handful of boards made with both...
Well, what is your budget, and do you live in the US(you can order from newegg then).
EDIT: also, you are buying these for games right? |

You should buy the PCI-E version.
I'd go for the x700.
Some motherboards have both PCI-E and AGP, though not many.
AsRock makes one. |

Well I'll be darned that thing does have both. In that case, I belive that a PCI-e card would be your best bet. |

Get the PCI-E versions...usually the AGP's on those type of motherboards are 2 pci slots joined together...which makes it much slower...
Between those two, I would get the x700, but if you could get a 6600 GT for a little bit more, I would get that. |

Ok thanks for your help,
will the x700 run battlefield 2 using these sytem specs:
Processor: Intel celeron 2.66gz
Ram:768mb (333mhz)
PSU:420w
Oh and would the 128mb 6600GT be better than the ATI X700 256MB Card?
Thanks. |
