    Question HALF LIFE 2 graphic problem

     
    hey guys before i start i want to say i can play BF2, COD2, and DOOM 3 without any problems.

    now when i play HALF LIFE 2 the graphics are ok but they do this:
    SORRY IF THE PICS ARE BIG, DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM SMALLER







    AMD ATHLON XP 3000
    ATI 9800 pro 128MB 256bit
    1 GB KINGSTON RAM
    120 GB HDD

    i had driver 5.6

    yesterday i installed the latest driver which is i thik 11.
    still no change

    any suggestions?

    ill try it but any other suggestions before i uninstall it

    one other thing
    am trying to uninstall but i cannot find the uninstall option

    its not in the start menu, nor the add/remove section, nor is it in the explore section under program files.

    any suggestions?

    Yes, that is a file corruption/missing thing. Reinstall HL2 usually works. You right click the game in steam and delete local content.

    If it doesnt work look into it on the steam forums or create a thread for it.

    What about reinsterting your cd? When you do that doesn't a auto play come up? If it does, can you install it again through that?
