Leadtek graphic cad issue

Today I bought a new grapich card, put it in my computer and turned on, everything went well and I installed the new drivers for this products(incl directx).
I restarted as you should, and just about when the log-in screen should appear the screen goes black, and the on/off lamp turns from green to orange. The Scanner starts up as usual so I think windows is running in the background.
If I restart and put the old card in, everthing works. If I uninstall even the new card will work(like the first time.)
Then you think why dont you run it like that? Well the all scrolling is extremly slow, on the internet and all other programs.
Its just the scroling and there is no slowness when I try to open a picture i.e photoshop. And my computer is slow scrolling even with my old grapich card. I have never had problems like this before, they started when I tried to install your software.
Graphic card Leadtek, WInfast A6600 TD, 256 DDR, AGP 8.
Mobo MSI K8N NEO2-54G AMD 64bit
1 gig of ram.
winxp
Please any help would be great.

I have tried different drivers and directx versions........

Sounds like a driver conflict. I would put the old card back in and uninstall all the video drivers. Be sure to use any uninstall programs for both the old and the new card. Reboot the computer and when Windows wants to install a video driver be sure to install the generic windows driver.
Reboot a few times to make sure windows is happy. Delete the old driver files if you can find them. Try a driver cleaner program (search Techimo, other posts tell where to find a good program).
Often the manufactor will have software or instructions on how to completely remove the old drivers.
When all is clean, then remove the old card and install the new and carefully follow the install procedure. This should work.
Sometimes Windows gets so hosed up with drivers that is is best to format and start over.
Check the control panel to remove drivers, then device manager, remove all video cards listed there. Of course start by going to add/remove programs and remove drivers there first.
I will boot to safe mode sometimes to remove drivers.

ok, now I have reinstalled windows.....3 TIMES!

says that the unit isnt plug and play compatible.

opening programs and browser works fine but all scrolling is like before, extremly slow.

I also think that the graphic card has some conflict with something else, i dont know how to solve it.

Have you tried clearing your cmos on the mobo? There maybe a setting for enable/disable PnP that is not set right. Often when a card is detected as not plug and play it is defective. So, I suspect that your card is messed up. Possibly you can reload it's firmware.

yes cmos is cleared.
what is this "...enable/disable PnP...."
lets see if I find some firmware for it.
but you should nknow that other card also suffers from this scrolling problem.(but never before i installed the winfast software.)
