| I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE. I have had this for about a year now. its done me well. What i would like to know is what graphics card do you think i should upgrade to. i dont want 2 pay too much for one. just one what will do everything. The price roughly about £100 - £120. thnx |

Well, for an AGP card, I'd probably look at a Geforce 6600GT or a 6800.
If you had a PCI Express slot, I might go with a Radeon X800GT or X800pro card...
But with your specs, I'm positive it's AGP.
But the 6600GT is reasonably priced AND it should be a lot faster than that LE card you have.
Heck if you can find a Radeon 9800pro or 9800XT for a good price, that would be a good option too.

Well I went over to see my computer and played Half Life 2 on it, and my computer has a nVidia GeForce 6500 256 MB Video Card, so really, if your looking for something inexspensive and good, go with the the nVidia GeForce 6600 GT. I don't know if you want 128mb or 256mb, but I really don't know how much you're looking to play on your computer? |
