need help picking a new graphics card please help

Hi

Im looking into buying a new vid card and dont know what to go for AGP or PCI-E not Crossfire or SIL

is PCI-E 16x better than AGP x8

if PCI-E is better i was gonna go for the ATI X800 GTO for over £100

if any 1 can help me picking out a vid card that would be great

I have £150 maybe more to spend on a card

im up grading my PC's hardware to

3200+ 64 bit AMD (939)
with a 939 socket mothboard APC or PCI-E
512 to a gig of ram to start

and a graphics card to play frear and call of duty 2

some 1 please help

Yes, PCI-E is much better that AGP 8x in some ways. Its just slightly more expensive.

For nVidia cards, go 6600GT, 6800GT, or that 7800GT

For ATI, stay in the x800x range. :P
