Problem Installing Nvidia Drivers

I have the Geforce FX 5500 OC PCI graphics card and when i try to download the drivers from the nvidia website a message pops up saying "continuing installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediatly orin the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for the software that has passed Windows Logo testing." i wanna know if anyone has encountered this before and if i should still continue to download the drivers. My system is a HP pacillion a1140n with a 630 3.0 GHZ processor. i dont know what kind of motherboard but i also have 1 Gb of ram. Please dont flame cuz there is just no point to it i actually need some help.

ms says that about any driver they haven't certified. You really shouldn't have any trouble with that driver though (is that saying that during download or install? if download, stay away, if install, that's just ms being stupid most likely.

It's just something lots of software has issues with in Windows XP. I've been told by others that it's fine, and to say to continue the installation. I've done it for graphics drivers, and other things, and I'm still here, typing this message to you. Should be fine.
