And don't rule out nvidia because you have an ATI mobo. Nforce4 motherboards work great with ATI video cards. | I would probably look for something in the mid-range price bracket. Will a PCI-e card work with the x200, I mean as in use both there resources. Be nice if I could compliment my x200 with a PCIe card as appossed to not using it alltogether.
Thanks for your help chaps.
That connect connect3D Radeon X800GTO 3038 Video Card sounds good |

The onboard video is disabled when you use a seperate graphics card. Either done automatically, or via the BIOS

You can look at adding a PCI-e card as a ram upgrade too. Once the card is installed the onboard will give back at least 120mb video ram to the system. Some onboard will keep 8mb whether it is being used or not.
The x800GTO is a very nice card.

First of all, even with a power hungry videocard, his system would be perfectly fine with a good 400w...
Antec is overpriced and overhyped... |

Yes they are expensive, but the 380 watt antec that came with my case is great. It was running a 3.4 prescott with a mild overclock (110+W) and a 6800 ultra (plus 2 hdd, 2 optical & 1 gb of ram). That's a power hungry beast but it worked great. IMO the best way to get an antec psu is with one of their cases, no so pricey that way.
There are many much less expensive, high quality options like the FSP's you usually recommend. |

yea, that is the only way I would recomend getting a antec psu, if it's a came with case.
They aren't bad, just overpriced and overhyped.
What are the +12v rails on your 380? |
