Dual 7600's or One 7900GT

I am looking at a new machine,
MSI Board,
Athlon XP x2 3800,
2 Gig Corsair XMS

Question would be, Would I be better going with dual 7600 GT's or doing one single 7900GT or a 7800GT.
I have dual monitor setup and heard of some issues with that and SLI, I havent heard what problems.

Lets get some input.

Get the 7900gt and then when its time to upgrade you can get another 7900gt.

Yea get the one 7900 and in the future go SLI if you really want to.
