xfx nvidia 6600gt agp died

xfx nvidia 6600gt agp died last week and i just bought a zalman vf 700 cu fan for it. was too late and now i have a great new fan with no video card. i put an fx 5200 from my web surfing pc to hold me over. really its my son whos the gamer and he's hating life with the downgrade. what would you recommend as a replacement? wow is his main game and budget is only around 150.00, unless the money tree blooms early. i'm kind of out of the loop and haven't kept up for about 3 yrs. any help would be appreciated.

probably what he suggested is best for your price range..but for $200 you could get the 6800GS, not sure if the new gpu fan you got will fit either though.
