Battlefield 2 Patching Problem

I'm having a lot of trouble finding the patches that will make my bf 2 work. I first started having trouble after I installed the 1.22 patch. It was fine for the first few weeks, but then it crashed once or twice. But it all went downhill after I installed Euroforce. Then, the screen went light green, and i had to restart. Sometimes, I would go onto a server and the game would lag for a few minutes and then go back to how it is supposed to go, or the game would stay at 1 fps no matter what server i went to. I reinstalled the game 3 times, and the 1.22 patch, but it still won't work.
Setup: Dell XPS 600
Dual 7800 GTX
intel dualcore 3.00 ghz
1 GB Ram (accident, meant to get 2)
I love BF2, but I cant play, can some1 help?

1. Just Re-Install BF2

2. Go to the Download Section

3. Download:
-Battlefield 2 v1.22 Incremental (9.3MB) Requires 1.21
-Battlefield 2 v1.22 (372MB)

4. Install them both. IF one does not work, don't wory about it.

5. THEN install EuroForce

Note: There may be more patches nececary to install after EuroForces

Actually, reinstall and get patch 1.3...that is the latest.

I installed 3.0, and when i started it was the same, but it wasnt doing the weird freeze lag thing. But, after 20 minutes it started again. It doesnt do it on the menu though. It maybe something wrong with the computer, it does it on certain bfme 2 games, oblivion, and of course BF2. Wuts wrong with it?
