Do you have a AGP port? For around $130 you could get a Geforce3 with 64MB. If you were planning to spend $125 I would go with that.

No, don't get it... if it's a Geforce with "MX" in it's name somewhere, avoid it like the plague.

Go here http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...alog=48&DEPA=1 and look for the VISIONTEK Xtasy 5632 GEFORCE2 GTS-V 4X/2X 32MB DDR AGP towards the botom of the page. It's a much better card, and at $48, it's a steal.

    Get a mobo with AGP

If you're that concerned with video you'll ultimately want to buy a motherboard that comes with an AGP slot...you can get a motherboard combo for around $125...that will be a 1gb cpu with a mobo that has an AGP slot, 5 PCI slots, and an ISA or CNR slot also. Go to pricewatch and check it out!

    However, back to your question...

PCI slot video card...maybe a Voodoo5, my friend has one and it performs nicely for a PCI card.
