A Guide to LCDs

I have four HTPC at home connected via server

1 65" sony DLP (*looks like crap but very cool for gaming) not a LCD ,just wanted to say
2 42" Sceptre 1080p (very very nice after you adjust the color)
3 26" Vizio 720 (from 1-10 I have to give it a 7)
4 56" Samsung 1080p looks the best out of the four ,best I ever seen

Reading up this thread I know I'm in the right place to get any help. Although most of the things I've been reading on your thread is pretty new to me in concept, I could kinda follow along. Could anybody be able to explain the differences, strengths, weaknesses and money saving tips on all these please??? I do light graphic work, photo shop, web surfing, some film editing and lots of document stuff.
