| still got slight vid card problems !!!!
i had a problem with my video car a couple of days ago , i rolled back the driver and eveything seemed fine , yesterday i played f.e.a.r for about 2hours
the game played great ..everything was good ....but
when i quit the game and went back to my desktop it seemed as if there were windows half way opened and the screen would blink every second ....i turned the pc off then back on and everything is fine.
but it did it again i played for lil bit more and it did the same thing.
anyone have any tips? ...im getting really frustrated
should i uninstall everything then install as if i just put the card in ?
problem when i first installed the card i forgot to uninstall the previous card drivers.
then i installed the latest 91.31? drivers then went back to the older drivers ...so im not sure if that might have anything to do with it ?

OH MY ******* GOD! This is the EXACT same problem I had.
91.31 seems to make performance and the problem worse.
Mine only happens when I'm in SLI though, not when I'm using only one card... Maybe our cards (in my case my second card) are both defective? LOL |

| http://www.techimo.com/forum/t170691.html ~~~ theres my thread on it, it's with an XFX card too so maybe these super-overclocked cards we both have don't always work right (like I said one of mine works fine by itself, the other is questionable in SLI.) |

Stick with the drivers that work best for you.
Is your card still overclocked? May have something to do with it. |

I think it may be a combination of hardware and driver problems.
BUT I tried changing drivers, uninstalling, reinstalling... hell, I even reinstalled WINDOWS and it didn't fix the problem, so I think it's more hardware than software. |

won't work, but you can try it. Either a completely new install of Windows after formatting your drive, or a complete uninstall of all NVidia drivers. It won't work though dude, I tried it. Twice. |

Maybe it has something to do with what's in this article. |
