AGP slots are usually brown, there have been two different styles of cards made for them though because i have had some AGP cards that fit into some boards and not into others, i think that comes into play with AGP and AGP 4/8x designs.

My AGP slot on my board is green so they arent all brown, and based on my AGP slot, the divider looks to line up so its a good chance it is AGP. What model is the board and we could prolly tell u for sure if it is AGP or not

thanks for your help im just going to go to best buy and ask the guy in the graphics department the best card i can buy with that slot. thanks again. |

I can't believe somebody said that  AGP slots don't have to be brown, they just traditionally are.
Before you go and let Best Buy rip you off, why don't you make another thread here asking for recommendations on an AGP video card? Make sure to include your price range and your use - heavy gaming, light gaming, no gaming, etc. |

The slot on the bottom looks like a PCI-E slot.
But, the white slot looks like an AGP slot.
And, we can help you pick out a Graphics Card that would be better than what you could get at Best Buy. |
