Hi guys im going to purchase a Radeon X1300 Pro for my computer which is a Compaq D510 SFF. I have a a free AGP slot for the card but I just need to know if this card will work with my motherboard? And if more information on my motherboard is needed to know if they will work together how can I view more information on my motherboard? |

I wouldn't buy from bestbuy personally but your mobo should support that agp card.

Your motherboard should support that card, but SFF stands for Small Form Factor. The x1300 Pro might be too tall to fit in your case. Info about your EVO D510 SFF at the HP/Compaq support site is terrible. I can't find anything that says if a full height video card will fit.
Edit: I found this info... http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/q...Market Options
If you have the SFF only low profile video cards will fit. The Convertible Minitower has room for a full sized AGP card.

Buy from newegg.com
What games will you be trying to play?
im pretty sure the x1300 isnt a very good card price/performance. The 6600gt cost roughly the same, and will perform better. Do you think you could find an image of your case on the internet and post it? That way we could try to speculate whether a low-profile card is nessasary. |
