Cannot adjust monitor resolution.
Specs: AMD XP2000/768mb 2100 ram/Gforce2 GTS-V card. I think the mobo is a Epox 8rda. The monitor is a Dell 15 inch LCD
Installed a new hard drive and now there are only 2 choices when it comes to adjusting the resolution. Also, every time it boots up,you must hit auto adjust on the monitor because the screen is too low and there is no task bar visible. Tried adjusting with the tool on the moniter itself, but keeps messing up with each bootup.
Tried using both windows update drivers and the ones from Nvidia s website, which,I believe, are the same.
The only choices we have for resolution are 800 by 600 and 1200 by 768,I think.
There are 7 choices on my 9800 pro machine.
Is there an old set of drivers that can be used to solve this problem? The moniter worked fine before the hard drive crapped.
Thanks for the help,eh?

strange, i only have 3 rez to choose from but i dont have a problem with that.
If you remeber the resolution you want then you can put it in on the control panel, under resolutions and refresh rate tab.
and you can try unselecting hide modes my moniter cant use or whatever it says.X2-4400 2.4Ghz
