Help please - ATI X1300
I have an HP Pavilion with the following spec: P4 3.06 with Hyperthread, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 200 GB SATA HD and ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 onboard graphics. Recently I bought an ATI X1300 512 MB card to replace the onboard graphics, this was advertised as the PRO version but was actually the HYPERMEMORY so only had 128MB dedicated. This card was woeful and locked up playing games like Settlers! I checked the BIOS and disabled the onboard graphics plus downloaded the latest drivers from ATI - the card was just as bad so I have decided to send it back.
The question I have is which card should I aim for? I have about £100 and want to play Tiger Woods in a decent resolution (currently playing at 1024X768 and the water looks like it did in the first TW even in max detail!)
Cheers for any advice
