Im currently using a 7500Le 256mb, and on full settings cod2 i get 30fps+, but i usually play with 1024 res without AA or any special settings, just extra gfxs and i receive 90-200fps, and BF2 all high settings runs equally smooth. If your playing cod1 i usually play all high extra+ 1024 res i get 125+ fps, but i cap it at 125, with 1280 res usually 80-125+ fps as well. Then again this maybe becuz of of computer if it can be considered any good . 300GB hard drive, Dual core processor 2.13Ghz @ 6400, and 2 gig Ram, runs very good i like to think |

| 7600GS(256MB) vs. 7500LE(512MB)
Does anyone know which of these cards is better:
GeForce 7600GS 256mb or
GeForce 7500LE 512mb.
The 7600GS I bought couple a year ago, and the 7500LE just came with the new computer. I dont know if I should swap the 7500LE with my 7600GS.
I need it to play Battlefield 2142.
Its an Intel Core2Duo E6300 at 1.86GHz, 1066MHz Front Side Bus, 2MB Level 2 cache, 2GB DDR (2x 1024MB)(PC4200)
Bottom Line 7600GS(256MB) vs. 7500LE(512MB) |

Welcome to TechIMO!
The 7600GS is quite simply a much, much better card for everything. You are most likely even questioning it because of the higher memory of the 7500le which is just the company tricking you into thinking high number = always better.

That & the fact he got the 7600 a while ago, & the 7500 came with the new PC, so might be thinking the 7500 is better as well... but its not, the 7600 is the better one. |

Hello all....
I'm a serious newbie looking to buy a pre-built HP.
There are two configs that I'm looking at.
1) Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86Ghz w/ NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE
2) Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13Ghz w/ NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS
The second one cost $60 more. Is it worth it, or will the performance improvement be minor? |
